Wales launches its first Museums Festival

Museums Festival Wales Logo CMYKTo coincide with the Museums Association Conference in Cardiff next week, the Welsh museum community has come together to launch the first ever Welsh Museums Festival. There is a real buzz with lots of interest from media, politicians and the public. We’ve invited Nicola Williams to tell us more about their plans:

Get ready to ‘Be Amazed’!

The first ever Welsh Museums Festival is just around the corner, from 4-12 October at museums across Wales to coincide with the Museum Association Conference which takes place 9-10 October at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff.

There will be a variety of events, activities and exhibitions happening at participating museums to include exclusive access to stores, talks, walks, trails, drawing and art workshops for all the family – take a look at www.welshmuseums.co.uk
